This is from a perspective from my experience running a auto repair San Diego company.The two things I want to take a look at is your safety and the overall health of your car. 

So when we are talking about safety in reality all vehicle maintenance pertains to safety.But there is a part of your car that is critical to safety.That part of the car is your brakes.  With cars going faster and faster you need good brakes. With more and more people having so many distractions good brakes are a must.  By making sure you take care of them you will always be able to break in time.Brakes that you make sure are well maintained will save lives and save money.  I have seen it first hand running a San Diego brake shop.

In relation to your car, your car’s overall health will be dependant on how well maintained you keep your car.Some of the crucial things you have to do is to make sure you always change the oil and get tune ups. By making an effort to always change the oil you allow your car to run smoother and longer.  By not keeping your oil maintained it can ruin your engine.

Another important thing you have to do is make sure you get regular tune ups.  If you do that you keep all your car’s major functions taken care of.By performing this step you will have a car that runs smoother and cleaner.If you are unable to do this your car will be running very badly.Some things that can happen when you don’t do that is a failed smog test.  Most of the cars that fail in my smog test San Diego shop are the ones that didn’t take care of those things.

So by doing these two things you will keep your car safe and you and your loved ones safe.
